Windows 95 Turns 10

Just 10 years ago Microsoft released Windows 95, its hard to believe as for some it doesnt seem that long ago. Here is an archived article published by the Washinton Post on the day it was released.

On a side note, for the launch party, Microsoft paid $12,000,000 for the rights to use the Rolling Stones' song "Start Me Up"

The sad part is is that so many people are still using Windows 95....

I use to deal with Windows 95 machines quite a bit...I cut that crap off!

Windows XP can be a big enough PITA all by itself...Windows 95 is horrible. It never failed, the client with the Windows 95 machine was always the same person that bought 5 new USB devices and a wireless router and wondered why everything didn't work right...
